He was a widower and she a widow. They had known each other for a number of years being high school classmates and having attended class reunions in the past without fail. This 60th anniversary of their class, they had a wonderful evening, their spirits high.<\/p>\n

The widower throwing admiring glances across the table. The widow smiling coyly back at him. Finally, he picked up courage to ask her, \u201cWill you marry me?\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After about six seconds of careful consideration, she answered, \u201cYes,\u2026..<\/p>\n

yes I will!\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The evening ended on a happy note for the widower. But the next morning he was troubled. Did she say \u201cYes\u201d or did she say \u201cNo?\u201d He couldn\u2019t remember.<\/p>\n

Try as he would, he just could not recall. He went over the conversation of the previous evening, but his mind was blank. He remembered asking the question but for the life of him he could not recall her response.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

With fear and trepidation he picked up the phone and called her. First, he explained that he couldn\u2019t remember as well as he used to. Then he reviewed the past evening.<\/p>\n

As he gained a little more courage he then inquired of her, \u201cWhen I asked if you would marry me, did you say \u2018Yes\u2019 or did you say \u2018No?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy you silly man, I said \u2018Yes. Yes I will.\u2019 And I meant it with all my heart.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The widower was delighted. He felt his heart skip a beat.<\/p>\n

Then she continued. \u201cAnd I am so glad you called because I couldn\u2019t remember who asked me!\u201d<\/p>\n

An elderly couple was celebrating their sixtieth anniversary. The couple had married as childhood sweethearts and had moved back to their old neighborhood after they retired.<\/p>\n

Holding hands, they walked back to their old school. It was not locked, so they entered and found the old desk they\u2019d shared, where Jerry had carved I love you, Sally. On their way back home, a bag of money fell out of an armored car, practically landing at their feet.<\/p>\n

Sally quickly picked it up and, not sure what to do with it, they took it home. There, she counted the money \u2013 fifty thousand dollars! Jerry said, \u201cWe\u2019ve got to give it back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sally said, \u201cFinders keepers.\u201d She put the money back in the bag and hid it in their attic.<\/p>\n

The next day, two police officers were canvassing the neighborhood looking for the money and knocked on their door. \u201cPardon me, did either of you find a bag that fell out of an armored car yesterday?\u201d<\/p>\n

Sally said,\u201dNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jerry said, \u201cShe\u2019s lying. She hid it up in the attic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sally said, \u201cDon\u2019t believe him, he\u2019s getting senile.\u201d<\/p>\n

The agents turned to Jerry and began to question him.<\/p>\n

One said: \u201cTell us the story from the beginning.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jerry said, \u201cWell when Sally and I were walking home from school yesterday\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The first police officer turned to his partner and said, \u201cWe\u2019re outta here!\u201d<\/p>\n

An elderly couple who had just celebrated their fiftieth anniversary were sitting on their porch, relaxing. Both were simply reading a book and rocking on their chairs. When suddenly, the wife looks at her husband and whacks him across the head, and goes back to her knitting.<\/p>\n

Her husband, puzzled, asks, \u201cWhat was that for?\u201d<\/p>\n

She replied, \u201cThat was for 50 years of bad s**.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He goes back to his newspaper, but a few minutes later, he looks at his wife and whacks her across the head. The wife, also puzzled asks him, \u201cWhat was that for?\u201d<\/p>\n

Not looking up from his newspaper, the husband answers,<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is for knowing the difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
