\u201cYou\u2019re safe with me,\u201d she said, voice shaking but clear. \u201cNothing you tell me will make me leave you. Has anyone hurt you?\u201d Lily\u2019s answer came without words first: her whole body collapsed against her mother, finally letting itself be held.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
